    That is pretty awesome.
I missed out when there were a bunch of them going on Yahoo Auctions Japan cheaply a couple of years ago. Of course, finding myself in a bit of an economical pinch at the moment thanks to a lack of freelance contracts being thrown my way these days, so by all means take your time with the cleansing, 'cause if the price is right, this most certainly would be relevant to my interests.

I'd like one too but I'm afraid shipping is going to be a killer. Maybe if there are enough people interested in Europe it's possible for example to ship a batch to the UK and distribute it further from there.

Are they all test tools or are any of them the ps2 profiler?

you mean the Performance Analysis Tool? that's a separate machine and quite rare, most studios didn't use it unless they wanted to really tap the metal. These are the "common" development kits used for PS2 software development. No idea if they include the network-capable variation used to make online games.

I m not sure what you mean by Test tool though. PS2 TEST units look almost like regular retail units from the outside - these things are PC cases with a Mohican, at least 2HDDs inside, a PCI x86 daughterboard and mad dip switches among other features.

Erm, My mind is was half awake last night.

Yes I ment performance analizers. I've used them before and they are just awsome to have. I've also used normal tools and know the difference betwen a test/tool. Sorry I just was half awake when I wrote it. :p

From what I remember, they look almost exactly like a Tool.

They are godly though, we optimised a PSP game with one.

Well simply put, port your game to ps2 and use it to optimise everything outside of the renderer & vfpu opt. Ps2 PA is so much better then the ProDG profiler for psp.

Based on specs I never realized that the PSP shares so many abstraction similarities with the PS2. Thanks!
