Doesn't seem like a texture to me.

Unless you're refering to the head in the little dialog box.

 

I think he's talking about when you're flying in your craft. If you look in the cockpit window you can just see a floating head that's linked to a texture for his body.

I could be wrong, but I feel like I found this myself years ago so I think it's the same thing.
