Does anyone know if the Jaguar suffers from a common problem or certain errors? I have a box of them I got a while back, they were supposedly fixable and was wondering if they were curbside trash or not. The guy said something about a small spring or plastic thing inside breaking all the time.
I don't claim to be a Jag expert...but I recall hearing that the spindle can sometimes get pushed down too far...and that'll cause it to stop working... That's probably the simple fix you were thinking of. Otherwise, check the Jag section on the Atariage forums...lots of knowledgable people there.
Yea, most of the time you can fix them. As stated by Blur2040 usually the spindle gets pushed down and all you have to do is pry it back up. I had to do this to one of my JagCD units.
