    I picked up a CECH-2501 with a manufacturing date of either July or September 2010. Using Chkminver it reports that it can support a minimum of 3.40 which I believe fully qualifies this PS3 for downgrading and CFW installation. If there is anything else I can do to verify this let me know, there is no date code that I can find.

    I'd do this myself but it since I'm only after just this one downgrade buying the tools to do it isn't cost effective. PM me what your asking price is and we can go from there.
