Jap Saturn Video problems.

So I picked up a JAP Saturn months ago and it was working the last time I used it (About a month ago,) so it has just been sitting there this whole time and I came to play it today and when it turns on the disk spins and the screen will flash with the Saturn load screen for a few seconds with the sound and then wash out. I tried it direct Scart and via a scart selector and the same result. The last time I used it the console was in colour on the CRT as I bought a RGB cable for it.

So any help is appreciated.
