Although I love my white Wii I m itching for a black one as well. Is this normal?

That boxart looks brilliant:love: I guess now that demand is starting to even out they can afford to release the colour variants. Hopefully there'll be some limited editions as well (a la DS).

Since this is Japan, you can bet that any colored console released there will get appropriately color-matched accessories.

I hope to God if it happens in America that they'll let you send in your white one for a case change to the black one. I'm not buying 2! I only need 1!

 

if they were clever buggers they'd include the motion plus accessory built-in in the black Wii and the black accessories

 

I just hope that when the Wii sees a price drop (THIS HOLIDAY SEASON?), Nintendo includes the MotionPlus accessory. Drop the console down to 200USD and include the MP attachment and you can guarantee sales through the roof. Heck, through in Wii Sports Resort in place of Wii Sports for good measure.

I mean, if Nintendo wants to ensure adoption of MotionPlus by developers and consumers alike, then this would be a perfect move to take, that of bundling with the console!

(I'd like to see it for less than 200USD, but that doesn't seem like it'll realistically happen... maybe?)
