These are nintendo sponsored units, so they could be seen as semi official product. for more info: http://www.starlightcan.org/programs/funcenter.htm
Now there's something for die-hard nintendo collectors to try and get their greedy hands on. Personally i'd take a hotel unit over this one any day.
It's big cos as well as a TV in there, there's also a SNES or N64 with game carts and a VCR. My mate's brother had one of the SNES units to play when he was in hospital about 8yrs ago for a broken leg. And before you ask, no, it wasn't an NHS hospital. It was a posh private one.
"starlight childrens foundation" = love hotel? lol EDIT: woops, I don't read. I'd prefer a love hotel one.
What I got in 1995 when I was in hospital was a Gameboy + Tetris to have a blast on When I was in hospital in 1998, There was a Playstation on a trolley, though it had no games -_- Fortunately I had the Tekken 3 demo from the Official Magazine at the time so wasn't all bad!!!
I've only seen pay TV's in hospitals. You buy a card and use that. It's about $10 a day. This is a small room with 4 partitions, so the TV is right next to your head.
I wonder how long it'll take before the thumb injuries start rolling in when the N64's thumbsticks wear out :Hangman:
When I was in the hospital I got to play one of those. What sux though is that if you ever get your hands on one, then chances are the controllers are broken.
