Japan Loses Interest In PSP?

    This was a recent poll conducted by Famitsu Wave DVD magazine in Japan


    I own a PSP, and play snes on it, mean while I cant wait for DS Lite for play DS games on the unit. Anyone out there in Sony land taking notes?

    Great machine, just needs some games on it that aren't retro collections or cut-down PS2 ports.

    Hmm, not surprising really. I think Sony is in a bit of a rut on this one - they have delivered exactly what the psp promised. A portable playstation, you can play playstation games on the go. However it is becoming very clear that if you are going to buy a playstation game you would prefer to play it on a tv.

    Once the shine has come off the psp, you realize it does not have a big place in you gaming life. I presonally love an excuse to play my psp - it is just there are not that many times when I am without a tv.

    Sony needs games designed to be played on the go and to get their prices to DS levels.

    You really have to commend nintendo at the moment - they seem to be able to do no wrong in Japan at the moment. Plus I'm loving my DS - I am in that wonderful stage when I have lost track of which games I want next!
