My dreamcast blog http://dreamcastcollector.com Mainly for Japanese dreamcast collectors showing a hopefully complete collection and variants, first prints and obscure items. I'm sure it'll improve over time and will update with much more content every week. Some trial discs and different versions of titles up so far. Check it out if collecting Japanese dreamcast software interests you!
I too am trying to do my personal completion of japanese dreamcast games. Just all the ones I either remember, or just really awesome ones that I need to own. Thanks for posting your stuff mate
Thanks and good luck on your collecting quest! Not really sure what to put up it's abit scattershot at the moment. Pm me on here or comment on the blog if there's anything your after or see i might have spares.
there are really 2 things I am truly after right now, gigawing 2 w/ spine card(I have a guy from arcade gears website that has it for 6k yen right now), but if you can get it for a better deal let me know lol. Secondly, zero gunner 2 w/ spine card. I guess you can say I am trying to go for a psykio spree of collecting lol
So after a lay off i've updated with a little bit special game...well to me anyways. Any collector knows about that one game that never seems to exist love nor money can get it, well that for me was Card of Destiny standard edition. Finally after 12 years i have it and i've thrown it on the blog. Most won't care or even have heard of this but for every shop exclusive or d-direct item this has been for me the hardest dc game to find.
What kind of game is it? I don't know too much about the dreamcast, but since I am sort of on my way to completing my saturn and pc engine...next will be dreamcast. Although it sounds like a good title with the way you portray it
Card of Destiny is a dungeon crawler in a first person perspective. You collect and use cards to battle it's a pretty good game quite hard tho. Good luck on the dreamcast collection if you need any help with games i have a long list of spares. I'm almost finished my full-set although it'll prob take a few years to get ahold of the missing titles.
Unbelievably an update lots of things added like, Atlus collection, Abel collection, Trial discs vol:1, Ever17 standard and premium editions, Geist Force & others. Managed to find a few others so next update will be tomorrow things to look forward to soon are complete collections from CRI, Komami, NEC. As always any dc stuff people are interested in i'll get it up on the blog!
Sites had a few more things added the CRI,SNK,Playmore and Komami updates have been bumped to early in the new year:-( I've added Daikoku complete collection Illbleed Taiwan edition and Starfish complete collection. Nec Interchannel has an interesting development as does the KID collection so possibly will be done in Feb. I've got another batch of Trials to upload. The sites slowly moving forward and i'd like to thank everyone who's paid the site a vist in it's first year and a happy new year to everyone.
So i've had a bit of a re-think. I really wasn't happy with the picture quality so 'i'm working my way though the collection and i'm about 75% done. The photos are a lot better and i'm happy I've basically restarted the whole site before the plan was to wait to complete collections were uploaded or other interesting variants then add them. Now i'm just uploading as i go so some collections might be missing one or two pictures or most of the photos but i'll get round to uploading them as and when. The trial section was one part of the site i wasn't to sure about Blai has a nice collection on his site and i showcased some in sets well i'll bring them back once i have taken better pictures and update them with plenty of new content. As always comments are most welcome if there's something you'd really like to see just ask. Thanks for sticking by the site!
Just checked out the site since the "restart". Looks great! I enjoy checking out the games and getting a little history about them while I'm at it. I have just barely started my Japanese Dreamcast collection (only about 10 games and they are all pretty standard releases) so I'm sure your site will be of great use as I finish up the easy finds and start to dig for new games.
