Yah, 1st collection was sold off in 2003. You don't have a PC to play PSO BB? Why not try PSO2? :p

B/c unlike the past, I actually have a life now ;)
    Are you playing PSO2?

Honestly I would love to. I just can't. I do have a PC but only have the Arcade VGA hooked up to it. It should support high res, but I've not had good luck with it, and own zero games honestly, so I shouldn't bother. They've also added that in-game purchase system which I am vehemently against. Call me old fashioned, but it's just something I can't get into.

LOL, I've tried PSO2 for a bit, doesn't seem very taxing on any system so probably would run on your MAME box. I'm not actively playing at the moment but then again, I'm not playing anything right now, more about designing and making those arcade controllers for now.

I hear ya. My other hobbies have taken over. I fight to get some photography time in a couple of times a week. And well.. as for the other hobby, you'll have to descend down from your otaku-beya to see my crazy bicycle next drop off.

It should be. Let's just say about 1 in 4 people look at my bike when I ride by (at night). Two expat wives in Nishi Azabu even pointed last night.

Honestly besides strong yen there just isnt many titles worth importing. Plus with international releases within a day or two or week at most no point. Only time importing big now is if an english release is europe only.

Ps3 only system that has some good japan only titles with region free a plus, sadly jpn releases worth importing come far and inbetween. Only game ive imported current gen is initial d for ps3, other than that a lot of retro imports lately.

If you're into VNs and danmaku-style games, the 360 has tons of exclusive stuff. Region locking can be a bitch, though.

region locking needs to die a quick but horribly painful death.

I remember that a user here took a picture from a store in japan, the localized version of gta IV was costing the double of the imported usa version, also i was surprise to see that releases could cost 90 dollars there, heck even brazil is getting cheaper prices.

Happens with FX. Japanese still need to eat and live in yen, which makes the prices skew (horribly).
