Yep, here I am taking another video in a game store. I know you love them so that's why I do them  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5c4T1mUqCU Just take a look at what time I left the store near the end of the video.

Thats an amazing store, I could see spending alot of time and money there.

For a shop that keeps older games its also spotless. Here in the states stores that keep older games tend to let them get dusty since they sit forever sometimes. And a hardcore gaming store open till midnight? Japan is awesome.

Thanks for the video Yakumo. Never get tired of watching those.

That shop only sells used stuff right?

    Japan is awesome indeed.

Ah, they were new. The store also sells new Wii, 360 and PS3 games and hardware.

Yeah, there are a few Hardcore gaming stores open till midnight if you drive around. Where I live there are no good game stores but 40 minutes in the car will brink you to 3 really hardcore places.

Well, as I said above they do sell new games for new systems but they also sell used games for those systems as well. The new titles are in a "NEW" section.

For some reason, at some points of watching the video, I felt like I was playing Shenmue.

Man, that store is awesome and the prices I saw were cheap, too.

Japanese people take care of their shit. I have a few jpn used game that are in the same shape if they where new.

If only used arcade stuff was like that. Arcade stuff ends up dirty and smelling like an ashtray.

Yeah, i know. But i'm always amazed of how japanese people treat their games so well.

Around here, 90% of the used games being sold are always with the same description: " The disc has small / light scratches that don't cause any problems for it to work ". It's like scratches are a little gift or even a bonus. :fresh:

And most of the time those "small / light scratches" really mean the disc is almost destroyed.

Some shops are really crazy about preservation. Some games I got from a shop on Yahoo were not only resealed and had bubblewrap inside the cases to separate manuals from CD's, they even put some velvet-like cloth between CD and CD case so there wouldn't be any harmful contact. That velvet-thingy wasn't custom made but I still have to find some for sale.

Nice! Do these places let you film, or did you have to be sneaky?

Every time I get a new PCB I Have to clean the damn thing to get the smoke smell out of it. It's so crazy because on the flip side stuff from USA arcades tends to be in better shape (sure a lot of it being no smoking in arcades but also I find the boards to be cleaner as well).

Oh well, I still import like crazy since arcade stuff is more common there and a **** ton cheaper.

Yes, but then again that's because arcades are normally full of smokers unless it's a family arcade. Unfortunately only the real hardcore places have the good stuff and yes, the smokers.

I've managed to clean my Naomi stuff so now they all smell lovely and fresh.

So far I have the following for it.

Title - Akatsuki Blitzkampf Ausf Achse
    Title - Cosmic Smash
Title - Dead or Alive 2 Millennium
    Title - Guilty Gear X
Title - Mobile Suit Gundam - Renpou vs Zeon
    Title - Slashout

Looking for that rare 3D fighter for it and there's also a pretty unknown shooterthat I'm looking for.

Nice selection so far. I might need to bug you in the future to help me import a copy of Gundam cart for naomi (mostly since I won't have a way to test it and you could, need it for my collection, I have a nice kit of Gundam DX with all the original paper).

    Toy fighter?

oh also it seems the price of Dynamite Deka EX has dropped a lot recently. Still high but not crazy.
