I recently saw this on eBay: Any idea why they put the gameboy printer paper in bulk for japan not in normal retail sales boxes? Translation of box: Personal Pocket Printer Sticker Prints (In the speech Bubble): Blue
It's just a box for retailers. It contains 20 smaller boxes like those beneath to be sold separately: The printer paper is pretty cheap in Japan like most GameBoy accessories, I bought a 20-piece carton of new Battery Packs for about 2,50$ once (total). They also had these 20x printer paper boxes for maybe five dollars, but who am I stuffing my luggage with paper
2€/new item is a fair price I guess. I'm not sure where they ship from, but even if Moeroshop is located in Europe they had to import it from Japan which isn't exactly a bargain considering most of this box is consisting of paper.
Found a supplier in the USA which is selling the same thing but with a different SKU which the price works out at €1.35 a roll. Although the SKU is GBP-A-PWCA (MGB-009) not GBP-A-PBKA
One advice. The paper is worthless now. As it's to old and the printing layer is gone so if you put the roll in your printer you will get no image or really light. So buy it only if you want to have nice item to look at.
michal99, surely thats only if its been exposed to light/head. If its been stuck in that box since it was made, it should be in good condition. The paper i have in my printer at the moment still prints semi-good prints.
The biggest killer is moisture to it, over time once it's been opened the paper absorbs moisture & wrecks the thermal printing properties. I have a full box of the stuff & the new unopened rolls print fine. As long as they are unused & still sealed, they should keep for rather a long time.
