    Help me out here guys..

I'm trying to compile a complete list of Japanese games which use German names.

Heres some I was able to put together in my head:

    Einhänder (PS) - (eng. "onehander")
Herzog Zwei (MD) (eng. "duke two")
    Ehrgeiz (PS) (eng. "ambition")
    Neues (PS) (eng. "news")
    Wolkenkratzer (PS) (eng. "skyscraper")
Stahlfeder (PS) (eng. "steel spring" or "steelfeather")
    Zeitgeist (PS) (eng. n/a)
Wachenröder (Sat) (eng. too complicated - see wikipedia)
    Neugier (SFC) (eng. "curiousity")
Xenosaga: Ep 1: Der Wille zur Macht (PS2) (eng. "the will to power")
Xenosaga: Ep 2: Jenseits von Gut und Böse (PS2) (eng. "beyond good and evil")
Xenosaga: Ep 3: Also Sprach Zarathustra (PS2) (eng. "and so zarathustra spoke..")
    Faselei (NGPC) (eng. "blather")
Panzer Dragoon Zwei (Sat) (eng. "tank dragoon two")
Meine Liebe (GBA) (eng. "my love")
    Reiselied (GBA) (eng. "travelsong")
    Söldnerschild (Sat) (eng. "mercenary shield")
    Der Langrisser (SFC)

There must be more! Help me out if you can!

Erde (DC) (eng. "earth")[FONT=Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif]
Kokuu Hyouryuu Nirgends (PC-FX) (last word eng. "nowhere")
    Strahl (SAT) (eng. "ray")
    Götzendiener (PCE) (eng. "idolator")

Reiselied was also released for PS2!

    I think so, yes.
There was the Dreamcast one, Advanced Daisenryaku: Europe no Arashi ~der deutsche Blitzkrieg~ (eng. the german blitzkrieg), I think "Blitzkrieg" is known in English as well, isnt it?

'Blitzkrieg' was a word created by an British Newspaper if memory serves me correctly (though I know it means 'lightening war' in German!)

There are loads of newer adventure games for PS2 that have german titles, but I don't remember their exact names.

Ah right, the "Fräulein" (young lady or just "miss")-games... heheh

Under Defeat (dc) has also lots of german references in it as it takes place in WWII. Wilhelmine Müller as a pilot for example, or all the (grammatically awful!) speech samples during the stages.

    Defining an era and more!

    Literally: "time-spirit"
It's used as the complete phrase "spirit of the time(s)"

From Wikipedia: "Thus a "Wachenröder" is a person who basically eliminates guards, which paraphrases the several missions quite well."

I never heard of "Wachenröder" as a word though and I can assure that nobody of my friends/family would have neither. Maybe its an ancient word that has not been used since I don't know how long :)

Don't forget, the entire opening FMV for Dracula-X on the PCE was in German and subtitled in Japanese. ;)

That's gotta be an A for effort or something, even if the title itself was Japanese.

I heard that the speaker of that intro was the Japan-correspondent of a german TV channel (ZDF).

It's a rumor I've seen people mentioning from time to time. Don't have a real confirmation there I'm afraid.

I love Japanese culture and all, but there were these tiny things that were sort of...disturbing...
Near Harajuku (there's this "Y"-type street...near the train station...)
, there's a small street where you find many clothing shops, I saw a shop selling punk stuff and t-shirts with Hitler and Nazi-stuff on them
    Perhaps something's left from WWII?
Oh, and also, there's this game (recently) released for PC which has Nazi fighters in it... (which looks great btw, but tasteless because of the "Heil" at the end of every battle)

Again, I'm not saying they all are, but there COULD be something left from WWII
