I recently re-read an old Adol thread where he said: and that made me think that actually I have never seen any collection thread, pics or whatever from a japanese collector anywhere on the whole internet, which leads me to ask this question: do you know any japanese forums dedicated to videogame collecting or just a videogames' forum with a collections zone?
For some reason, Japanese don't like to post pictures of stuff on the net. I mean good stuff like collections and so on. It's a really odd country when it comes to internet usage but then again so is radio and TV over here.
Your only good chance are blogs. There are some Japanese collectors who blog about their collection and recent acquisitions, but forums in the Western sense of the word are pretty much nonexistant for some reason. Here's a blog I found a few years ago and I still like to check it: http://kumao1002.blog.fc2.com/blog-category-6.html If you scroll down enough you can find pictures of his (amazing) Famicom collection room. Everything is in brilliant condition and looks extremely neat, just like you'd expect it from a Japanese collector ^^
Japanese don't use forums like every other country, instead they still use the archaic BBS style of posting on 2ch etc. There are a number of collectors on Twitter but you'll be hard pressed to find them unless you're already in their immediate circle.
