JAPANESE MEGA DRIVE 2 - 50/60 HZ JAP/ENG MOD

many times I call help for modding some MD models and thanks to apolloboy and you guys I always succeded; I tought that finally I had learned the theory behind the md mods and could manage every model, but everytime I come with a model with things that let me doubt about it...

plus I don't have a multimeter and I'm not a pcb expert so again I ask for your help boys....

I have this mega drive 2 jap which I resurrected adding a little solder under the ac input and I would like to mod it 50/60 jap/eng.

I already did pal md2 and a genesis 2 va3 but this look different again

I have the jp 3 like in the md pal so for 50/60 I would use this as the centre of the switch after cuttin the little trace that first meet the trace goin from pin 46 (correct me if I'm wrong)




for what concern the jap/eng switch I really don't know how to handle this, I know that uplifting pin 107 would do the trick but if I can use a jumper would be better!

I have this situation, anybody can help?

I finally tried to mod this thing but it didn't work.

after did some trying with the jumpers, I lifted pins 46 and 107.

Jap/eng worked flawlessy, but the other switch doesn't work, go 60 hz in any case.

even with pin lifted in air and not connected to anything, it gives me 60 hz, wonder if I did something wrong or this va0 cant be 50/60 modded
