No news about that but there was an pretty long earthquake down the east side of Japan about 50 minutes ago. So the Tsunami may or maynot come later on. Thank God I live on the west. Oh and some old guy drove his car off a 8 story car park on to the train track below killing himself and 2 friends. So I couldn't get home until they cleaned it up. The police are wondering if it was a group suicide or something. Bloody good job the train wasn't passing at the same time.
Update ! The local channel is showing the car going offthe 8th floor carpark since we are on the west coast While the other channel is reporting that the low tide around Hokaido has dropped 10cm. Other channels are also showing a map of what areas may be affected withthe orange being the most serious. Yakumo
Funny in the us most programing would be intrupted and would be soley focused on the disaster. I guess japan does not like there tv interrupted.
They had to close Hanauma Bay here from the same Tsunami. Not sure how high it got, but they rarely close that place. Strange, since that Bay faces Southeast, and Japan is to the Northwest. :/
