Here's what I've been playing over the last month.

    Initial D 3 Resource

More of the same really with the addition of cleaner presentation and now with semi auto controls which helps a lot.

    Rainbow Islands
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Very impressive if not a little slow. Jam packed with everything from the arcade game. Great control as well !

    Tenchi Wo Kurau II
    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Not bad at all ! Features all the arcade characters plus bonus stages. The only thing that lets it down is the occasional stutter as it loads in the enemy character's animation frames.

Ys VI - The Ark of Napishtim

Just what you need for those long boring journeys to work and back. Ys VI is a wonderful action RPG that I'd even buy if it was a real console game ! This is quite old now since it was made in 2004 meaning that the 3D is a little choppy but not that bad at all.

Um, it is a console game.

It was released on the PS2 and PSP.

I've got it for the PS2. Havent played it yet, as 90% of my PS2 games. :D

I think they might all be the same.

Well, if you dont have it for PS2, that must mean its uber freakin rare now!

I don't have a PS2 though  Or a PSP come to think of it. I sold my PSP and DS when good games started to come out for the phone (thinking about a DS lite though). You see, being a 30 year old male playing a PSP or DS on the train can look a bit sad if you know what I mean. A phone on the other hand is fine since every other person is using their phone on the train. True 80% of them are writing emails but at least I don't stand out playing games on a phone

hahaha, don't be silly ! It's the Sharp V603SH Just type that in to Google images to see all the different colours you can buy it in. I thing there's around 10 including a horrid XBOX snot green colour. It came out in January 2005 so it's over a year old now with the new model now being sold. This is mine. I take good care of it. You'd never know I bought it in February 2005.

This is what it looks like closed. The video camera is on the back.

The screen can rotate 180' to the left and right or up and down. Some of the game selection menu.

To watch TV you can rotate the screen round for full screen or watch it boxed in the normal view. The TV image is a bit fuzzy beacuse I'm indoors. Outside it looks perfect.

Started off as a PC game, and I don't think it exactly stole the hearts of Ys fans, w/ it's rather generic 3D graphics.

I'd dearly love to see the Ys 1 and 2 Eternal story games come over.

I know some of the Ys games have spanned SEVERAL platforms, like 5 or more. I remember you saying the series is a bland hack n' slash, but you know, the grass is always greener...
