Japanese Playstation Bios help

    Hi to anyone with help for me.
    I have a japan scph-7000 and i have fitted a mm3 chip but does not play pal games so i was thinking does anyone have a region free or hacked bios so i can get someone to program a new chip.
    If need be how can i dump the bios on a psx/psone.

    the BIOS has nothing to do with the region locking (all BIOS play all games). looks like your chip doesnt work completely (if it plays NTSC-U/C that is)

    Well its only plays japan region. cd-r and official disc.

    Jap machines had an additional security.

    You could try flashing the scph-1000 BIOS that doesn't have the check and see if works on the later boards.
