    *EDIT**

    System is now on HOLD

Hello. As I am getting a Panasonic Q gamecube I have decided I have no need to keep this one around to collect dust. So I am going to offer it up here. This is a Spice color japanese gamecube system. This color was and is japan exclusive and was never released here in America. It has a region switch on it for playing US and Japanese gamecube games on the same unit.

This system bundle will come with the following:

-Spiice gamecube modded with region switch
    -Official Japanese Power Cable
    -Standard nintendo Composite cables
-1 Spice color gamecube controller(analog stick is a bit loose and hard to use)
    -1 Black color gamecube controller
-Black color official Nintendo GBA player with startup disc

Well, there you have it. I am going ask $65+shipping costs on this lot.

    Here are some pictures:

Haha, I like the way you talk about a region switch as if you believe noone on this forum will have ever heard of one

From a collector's point of view, what we have here is an unboxed orange Japanese GC with a hole drilled in the back of it and a f$*cked pad. Oh, and don't forget the $2 toggle switch. Still, it has the leads, a replacement pad and some extra attractions - a nice little workhorse machine for someone.

I really like your marketing skills! Have you considered a career as an estate agent? ;-)

    woof, thats harsh.

I think 70 is fair for a gamecube someone would probably otherwise need import, with a clean-looking, installed region switch.

not everyone has technical know-how, even if it is as simple as a disassembly, drill, solder, solder, reassembly.

Hey. I actually have this posted on a few different sites. Most of the users on those sites don't know how to solder and things like this are not seen often. I just didn't change my wording and such and copy/pasted the listing on each one. I will edit it later.

Ahh, fair enough! Yeah, sometimes you have to change things a little depending on the site you list it on ;-)

Beretta, I never said there was anything wrong with the price. Good price - as I said before it's a nice little machine for everyday use and the player is a bonus. Add to that the limited amounts in the country, and it is a very nice player - you shouldn't have any trouble shifting this one ;-)

I never actually ran into issues before when posting items for sale and or trade on other sites. I have never done any deals through this site yet so I guess I just didn't know what to expect.

I have a JP PS3 for sale/trade here and im shocked in a way that the interest level is very very low. I just need to get a better grasp on dealing though this site I suppose.

Japanese PS3s aren't all that popular, certainly here in the UK. Those who want them generally already have them. That said, it's a 60Gb and a nice package. Perhaps with the lousy economy, people don't want to make high-value purchases. I can see the GC selling first, probably - but both should go :)

We shall see. I personally have spent wayyy to much $$ as of late in getting my Q, new sticks and buttons for my MVS cab, and just on games in general(a PC-FX system, and games, Dreamcast games etc) so I hope to finally sell something to recoup just a small speck of all i've spent lately :p

That being said, the Q was well worth the cost of admission for me.

You are correct on the PS3 because by now if someone wanted an import one...like me, chances are they have it. But maybe i'll get lucky. I have no idea how to edit the initial topic titles in this thread, but I put the PS3 up for trades as well as sale or sale/trade now as well. Just my topic wont change to reflect that. Oh well :)

Was this ever sold? If not, I'm interested! I do have some questions though.

    1) To be clear, this DOES support component cable?
    2) The region switch is a mod, does this mean that it affects game play in any way? If I speedrun with this, will I lose frames or have slow load times?
    3) Is the price still the same?
