I was browsing through failblog, and they have a video of pushers. Yeah, that's getting old now. It got me thinking, though.... They REALLY pushed those people on there. I mean super compacted. Look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axwMxUBL_ws Those people only just got in there. I wanna see that train stop, and the doors open. Seriously, though, what happens? Does anyone have any vids of this?
LOL yeah, the whole pusher thing is old news. What I'm asking, however, I can't find anywhere. What happens to these people WHEN THE DOORS OPEN?!?! They're squashed in there with some force! They're compressed like springs. So do they spring out of the doors and fall over? Or is it a fairly unspectacular event, and they get off as normal? And what about beyond that? Do people get off in an orderly manner, or is there a mad rush to get off the train?
Well, its just like a bag of potato chips. The people sort of "settle" into place somewhat. I used to transfer from the Tokyu-Ikegami line to the Yamanote at Gotanda every morning at about 7:45, so unfortunatly I'm all too familiar with those white-gloved guys.
They don't gush out like you would think. The problem is that sometimes someone from the middle of the cart has to get out. If he's on his own, he's got a lot of work to do, b/c nobody will fucking move.
Haha, I bet! It's hard enough on the Underground when it's packed! They don't let the trains get THAT packed, though!! Aww, that sucks! :-( I wanted to see trains spilling passengers
When I first saw this thread I idly wondered how it would work, I mean pushing a train? You're going to need quite a lot of people for that. I tried to visualise diminutive Japanese businessmen pushing a train along, but it didn't seem possible. Then I felt stupid.
Its a great chance to rub up against a woman or a man :110:                     no i never wood on purpose ha ha ha lol WOOD
Caw, they took the video down- why? Is youtube the new eBay? Taking down all manner of random stuff? Anyone have any other good train stuffing videos to point us to? Or any good aggregators for wacky Japanese stuff on video, like game shows? I love those.
I've seen those in the M3 and T4 lines of Valencia in fallas. Basically every C, M, T or R line is freaking full from 13 to 14:30 hours.
