japanese wii accessories

will they work on a north american machine? like controllers and stuff


there's a neo geo stick I'd like to get but not sure if it'll work



edit: also, how about a japanese neo geo system? can I hook that up and use it in north america or do I need some power conversion adaptor or something..?

 

Generally anything you will buy in Japan will work in America, controllers will be fine. Consoles will be fine too as long as they don't use RF.

 

ah ok, so you can mix and match hardware to an extent....wicked....

 

I suggest the SNES Classic Controller for the Wii if you can find it.
