I started seeing people saying they had dumped the Jasper or something so I was hoping that was the start of it for the Jaspers... Thanks for the answers...
Jaspers can be dumped it's just that the points and the jasper version of xell have to be figured out.
Is it possible that they are trying to hold the Jasper/hack back cause it would make it so you could run the dev kernels on them. So its being delayed so all the people that own devkits can sell them quick?
You have to realize who is actually doing the hacks. It's the people from free60, and last time I checked TMBINC was about running linux and helping people, there are other people like TRIOS that are working on it as well. When I asked TMB about some of the kit sellers he never even heard of them, nor did he have any idea who they where. You have to think the people that are doing the real hacking of the system are not some teenagers, they are grown professionals that have been around for a while. Last I heard they where speculating that the hack would run on a jasper, but the points where an issue. And I've heard that the info was released to create a NAND image for a jasper, but never really looked into it, because I want to have access to it now instead of having to wait for it to come so I'll use whatever box I have at the time.
