You see, Im gonna get a JDM Civic Type R soon. Im trying to get some after market from Japan. I have a friend who will shift there for a year or 2. Any idea where do the Japanese ppl get these stuff from? As in a legit cheaper source? I gonna get it ship to me. Or even people living else where can help too if they sell them cheaper.

Reason being, I dont wanna pay 50% more for them thru retailers here and havent add in shipping and installing fees.

    Thanks.

    Sorry, couldn't resist

Seriously, though, if you want a Japanese car, go to Dubei. Or Ireland.

Oops! Typing fail! :-( I seriously need a new keyboard for my laptop

Most stolen Japanese cars go through Dubai, and often then through Ireland. That said, legit cars that are up for that crazy testing in Japan go that route, too.

That 50% mark-up you mention might not sound that bad when you consider how expensive it is to ship things internationally (especially large things like exhaust systems and bumpers)

What type of parts are you looking for? If its small parts, say a set of wheels or smaller, you can probably buy it yourself from Yahoo auctions through a deputy service.

Someone might be able to recommend a good parts supplier in your country if we knew where you were located, too.
