Someone please tell me why none has even ripped this? well people have, but all download links across the internet are all down. Trust me, and if you do find one, its always the japanese one. So when I get a BBA next month, im going to buy the game and ripp it. But seriously, does anyone know of its existance? I can't find a damn nickle about it. Its one of the best game versions. Also, is DSISOZONE.com the only website that is allows uploading of these backups? or are there more popular ones? I know of CoolRoms and Emuparadise... but there quiet illegal and not for the preseving data type.
I'm sure that every person living in Europe know its existance, I have it since it's out. P.S.:I'm not sure that talking about backups is allowed here.
There is a TOSEC release for Jet Set Radio PAL You need to rip it and repack some audio to fit it on a 80 minutes CD-R or you can use 99 minutes CD-R
Im not talking about buying it to play it, thats my second reason. My main goal is to have backup copies for most great games. GDI disc's won't be working forever!
Neither will cheap CD-Rs. Unless you are using high quality discs (best would be gold CD-Rs I guess) backups are probably dying before the actual GD-ROMs. Or you just store them on a HDD, well.
Just Hdd for now. I managed to find a complete ripp of Jet Set Radio, kindly found by Evangelion. Just need to read up about compressing it for other people now.
ave is right... the original copies are bound to last a lot longer than discs made with a home burner. If you are that concerned, surely the best idea would be to 'rip' the discs image yourself (legally) for your own personal backup?
True. I'm looking for a BBA adapter anyway, can't ask on the market place till i get 50 posts up. but still searching on Ebay. The originals is always better, but its hard to keep hold of them, they do take up alot of space these days. might have to wait untill i move out and have a place of my own. At least I doubt the dreamcast scene isn't going to die out for a while!
I guess so. But when you look around on the internet, its sad to see such great sites like Sega-katana.com to just go, i loved that site! There's also a number of old sites that were very useful and are just dieing away.
Sorry for the off-topic note, but does anybody have a backup of segakatana? (Mark are you there man? I've not seen you in a WHILE) FG
Hey Familyguy, i swear your following me around.. (Im Failedartifact from dcemu!) I've tried the cache of google.. and there is no sign of Sega Katana's website.. not even a nickle. Are there any other sites which have such a vast information about the different types of products for the dreamcast?
