    This is definitely one of my favorite systems to collect for. Especially for the variety the system gives you. It provides great fighters, platformers, rpgs, visual novels, and pretty much most of em give so much quality. Also if you are a 2D lover, this system is definitely it. I have been collecting for this system for about I say 3-4 years now, and while I don't have most of the crazy games, at least yet, but I do plan on adding more to this collection. Only really after the ones I know I will enjoy, and not go for a complete A-Z collection. So here it is my Japanese Saturn Collection

    You've got some pretty good games there and a few expensive ones to. Are you planning on building a much bigger collection.

    That's one high quality collection right there, love it! Especially fighters and platformers are excellent choices... you don't see too many people sharing the love for Keriotosse, Ninpen Manmaru, Sokko Seitokai and the like.

    Whaaa? Keriotosse is awsome. 4 player madness! Back in the day, I remember it being one of the free games given out at a local Chinese pirate store when you purchased a modded Saturn. (^_^);

    That is interesting, but I have not had the chance to do keriotosse because of the fact I did not have a saturn multi tap. Good News though is that I just bought one from yamatoku specifically for this kind of thing though, for a nice price with the box(sundamage, but don't care) lol.

    Nice, that's a sweet collection. Those must of been really hard to find. They look good, do you collect Saturn consoles too?

    Some of these were definitely hard to find in the double digits. For example, that Astra Superstars I got for $75 from an ebayer, and by dumb luck I won that Alpha 3 for the saturn for the same price too from a bidding war in japan lol(not yamatoku, oh my!) All it is time and patience, just as everything. I am thinking about getting a couple of the console variants, and controller variants, but main focus is trying to get some of the other games for the saturn in order to satisfy myself, and also bring them over to my friend's house and play them, and have some beers with them lol.

    Also posted my PC engine collection here too. Those are 2 main priorities in collecting right now =P

    Thanks for looking and enjoying EarthAd

    Oh Noel 3, another quality Saturn title, and I don't own it yet! If I were to start an adventure game for the Saturn, which one can you recommend from personal experience? I only really played Tokimeki Memorial so far as my Japanese skills were always insufficient, but now I'm a bit better (advanced intermediate level), so I should be ok to try something more demanding soon :)

    On another note, a lot of Saturn titles got much more expensive in the recent 2-3 years. I noticed that Garegga is now always over $100-120 (used to be a $70 title), Super Tempo goes over $150 even without spinecard (used to be $30-50) and Street Fighter Zero 3 is anywhere between $100 (regular ed.) to $180 (RAM-box), where I used to go for $40 and $70 years ago, respectively.

    I haven't had the time to try out the other adventure game I have in my collection, however, these 2 in particular I have played and really enjoyed. It would be Friends Seishun no Kagayaki. Its pretty much based off of what life is like after high school, and you just have one more blowout hangout with all your friends. In this case though you get to get friendly with one of the girls, and in the end they become your girlfriend. Nice writing, and good story overall.

    This one is actually one of my favorites and that is Eve Burst Error. Based off of the NEC PC98 game, but this one is toned down moreso on the sex aspect. Nevertheless, you have 2 characters to play as which are Kojiroh and Marina. Kojiro is a private investigator which happens to finally get his big break on a job, but crazy starts to ensue when he then realizes that there are strange and bizarre murders going around. Marina, on the other hand, is one of the elite agents with a high success rate. She is protecting the daughter of an embassyman, but as we know there are multiple freaks out there that want to get their grimey hands on the daughter.

    There is more to it, but Eve Burst Error does start out a little slow, but when it picks up, it picks up. Kind of like Steins;gate the animation in that regard. Which btw is a fantastic anime of the visual novel too =P

    Very nice. You have quite a few titles I have my eyes on. Owning Hyper Duel automatically makes you cool.

    I actually remember liking the game because you definitely had to do some detective skills in order to beat some of the chapters. It is very adult in story elements. There isn't any sex such as in games like Eve or things like that, but this game was really quite nice. I say it was worth the 4 or 5 dollars I spent on the game =p

    I like your collection.
    Do you buy most of your games locally or online ?
