I downloaded the demo from Live and i must say i`m very impressed! I`ve been following the development of the game and the playable demo which is like 10-15mins long is very satisfying, kind of Max Payne goes East.

I have never seen so many things disintegrate, explode, crumble and shatter in my life. Gameplay is pretty solid, I can`t wait!

Already watched Hard Boiled again in anticipation. :rambo:

The Actor is Chow Yun-Fat, the character Tequila is from the film Hard Boiled (directed by John Woo) As for Stranglehold being a film i`m not sure, Tequila was played by Yun-Fat in the early 90`s and he looks a hell of a lot older now.

I am also looks like a sweet game and the demo was really fun. Only thing I'm worrying about is the fact that it might get repetitive.

It's one of the few games that catched my attention lately. I played the demo a few times and its just so cool! So yeah I'm also very excited and can't wait to get the full game!

(BTW the demo has some snippits of code that are a remainer of the Midway's press day!)

last I read, this game was supposed to be a sequel to hard boiled. So while there's no movie, this game picks up the story.

I love John Woo and Chow Yun Fat is a big hero of mine, so I can't wait. I just got God of Gamblers (Cantonese vers) at long last, classic!

As a fan of the Max Payne series I found the demo quite interesting. I think I'll buy the game as soon as I finish Bioshock if it's already on the market.

Can't wait. Gutted its slipped back tbh (showing 14th on play for 360).

    I hear you.

But for me it has one of the best vg moves of all time, the slow mo dive and shoot. I could never tire of such perfection!

I completed both Max Payne games a few times, i too will never tire of the dive and shoot. Was anyone else pissed off they changed Max Payne`s face in the sequel it was formerly the games writer Sam Lake. I refused to play the game until they released the Patch to play as the original model.

Not really I can't do any of the awesome moves in the demo so it feels like another dead to rights.

Maybe I'm missing something but it just seemed like a re-hashed Max Payne with (what Barc0de called) "bum gliding".

I used to be a big HK movie nut so that angle is appealing to me, also Max Payne was pretty damn good, so similar gameplay with Great graphics and an all new story sounds like the hot shit.

I have a massive collection of 80's and 90's HK Blood Honour/Heroic Bloodshed movies on VHS back in the UK. My favourite CYF movie is probably City on Fire, closely followed by The Killer. Thanks to eBay it is a lot easier to buy DVDs these days. The only issue I have is that most DVDs you buy in US stores are dubbed, so you have to rely on what some dude in Hong Kong or China thinks will be popular.
