Just saw this. Does anyone know anything about it? Seems like a good way to hook up all of your next gen systems to one TV, plus the progressive scan DVD: http://www.joytech.net/5/products/xbox360/4/106/Control-Center-540C.htm#additionalimages Laters
I'm currently looking to get an earlier model for connecting up all my SCART consoles. These systems have had good reviews and the connections are apparently lossless.
I've basically run out of AV slots on my TV but I have more things I wanted to hook up. A seller is Australia is selling them for $108 on eBay. Seems hard to pass up....
It is for component switching. Whilst it should work with composite too, I'm not sure if it'll do it at the same time as component. It is quite good if you want a component switcher, although I've heard of people having problems with them interfering with their component signal in some way (devices didn't work with it or it degraded the quality, etc). Their SCART switcher always seemed pretty interesting. Oh, I remember people complaining about not being able to name things properly or something. Most of the complaints are fairly small things like that ;-)
sorry to bump and old thread, but can anyone confirm if this will handle both NTSC & PAL Signals as the chap at Joytech Support seemed a bit simple and said it couldent do it.. even though they are sold in the USA???
ahh i see.... so Mr Joytech was lying! SWINE!!! 480i is the Wii STD output isnt it? Cheers for the info again DD... you are a font of all knowledge.
I'd stay away from these things if you can. I had a Joytech CC before which boasted that it could handle all HD signals and when I ran it in 480p mode, my television (XBR3) would blink on and off when it displayed FMV's.
but anything that runs at 480p (aside froma Wii which i dont own anyway) would be run via a different source anyhow i would assume? (my regular AV Surround amp for instance) I read that this was cured also by the use of an OE Jap Nintendo Wii Componant cable anyhow?
