The Tales of Symphonia sequel comes to mind, as does Rune Factory Frontier. Opoona is a pretty standard sci-fi JRPG, and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn fills the tactical RPG slot. And there's Baroque, the oddball port of the old Saturn game. Speaking of Saturn games, Sakura Taisen V was ported to Wii and localized for the west.

More recently there's Arc Rise Fantasia and Fragile Dreams. There's also the usual assortment of Square Enix titles that are also Wii exclusives. Hope that gets you started.

There's also Phantom Brave which was first released on PS2 years ago. Fragile is the best choice and one of the few reasons I'm proud to own a Wii.

Monster Hunter 3 isn't really a jRPG in the FF/DQ/whatever sense, but it's still Japanese, kind of an action RPG, and a really good game.

I recommend Fragile Dreams. Though play it with Japanese voices because the english voices are really annoying.

How the @#$%^&* I forgot to mention Monster Hunter 3? Althought it's MMORPG you can play offline too and enjoy it even thought in later missions you'll have to play online in order to get stronger weapon and armors. Personally I find MMORPGs unbelievably boring but Monster Hunter 3 is the gold exeption. Note it's very addictive (just like any good rpg, of course :p ).

I don't consider Monster Hunter Tri a JRPG, but I do want to echo the recommendation. It's a fabulous game, full of action-RPG goodness that hasn't been matched. It's frequently described as a Phantasy Star Online clone, but I think that it's evolved well beyond that point into its own category. Several games since (such as God Eater and the yet-to-be-released .hack game) are now described as Monster Hunter clones since they take the same formula and apply it to a different game world.

    Hello everyone,

There are some good JRPGs that have come to America/Europe. Hopefully "the Last Story" and "Xenoblade" as well will come to Western Countries.

I recently read and if I am mistaken please let me know, that Tales of Graces is coming to America? I can't remember if it is for the PS3 or Wii? I know it is for both systems but I don't know which one will be coming to America or Western countries. Any info would be much appreciate it.

    Bye.
