    I do not know if this is the right forum but, h
    ow do I dump my nand without a Printer port, I have already soldered the wires and made the connecter. Is there a PCI card I can use?

    You get a usb nand reader chip. If you don't dump your nand you wont be able to do anything with it, plus you need to write the hacked image back.

    I suggest using a SPI nandflasher. Much faster than using LPT:

    search for a "matrix flasher" it's usb, works with nandpro and does the job just fine, stable and fast... way faster than any lpt connection, I have tried it in the past LOL

    cheapest I could find in 2 minutes. Of course it's sent from china so it might take some time for you to get it.

    Most of these flasher will work with nandpro up to 2.0e, nandpro 3 supports a different kind of nand reader.

    Building your own requires that you program a PIC. If you don't have a printer port or a PIC programmer, it'll cost more to acquire these and take more time for you to learn and assemble than buying the device from China.

    IMHO nand-x costs too much money for a one-time read and write some ~1024kb back... sure it's great but it's use is very limited
