So it appears, unless I have a USB stick with an extra copy of XEX menu in my 360, it just crashes and I get the "fatal crash intercepted error." I tried deleting XEX menu from the console and copying the one from the USB stick over, but it still needs the usb stick with XEX menu on or the one of the console crashes. If I have the USB stick in the console, they both work (from the USB and HDD). If I take the USB stick out, the one on the HDD crashes. Anyone know what it going on?

Deleting the xexmenu game save will also remedy this in most cases.

Sadly, that did not work. Still crashes upon booting up unless I keep the USB with an extra copy of it in.
Edit: Is that FFFE07DF directory related to it? It has a ContentCache.pkg file in it. There is also one like that on my USB stick even though the only thing I put on there is the xex menu (C0DE9999).

Finally fixed it. For some reason it would only go onto the HDD without corrupting if I FTP it. Copying from the USB stick would corrupt it for some reason.
