Right, because there was some company (pharmaceutical, if I remember correctly) who had a copyright on the orange swirl. Anyway, SEGA was not able to set a generic blue color standard for the backcovers of games - as a result, most games have different blue tones which makes them look rather stupid on a shelf (IMO), as if some were suntan and some way too "fresh" (->darkblue).
