Just received a Sega Dreamcast Black Version console and...

    ...was just wondering about the voltage issue. I'm living in the UK and obviously got this from Japan, I take it I shall need to get a transformer or replace the PSU. I'd prefer not to do the latter because obviously I want to keep it original...anyone who has this model Dreamcast or an NTSC-J one etc., could you please recommend me a suitable transformer that would do the job?

    Do not buy a travel adaptor. All they do is change the plug fitting not the voltage. You either need a power transformer that will convert 240volts in to 110 volts or just replace the power board in the DC for one from a UK Dreamcast.
