I just played Red Steel 2 on my Wii. I'm really amazed on how well the western/Japanese theme blends. Love the game flow. Graphics are a bit cartoonish because of the lighting/shadow. You can use the gun or the sword at any time (not like Red Steel 1 that you ware forced about the weapon to use) Really, REALLY addicting sword fighting. I didn't expect to like this game so much. I dare you to test it.
Funny how many revisions this game went through. Surprised that there was always a desire in ubi to make a sequel even though it kept getting dragged out and redone.
And how's the motion control this time? It could be really good if it makes a good use of the motion plus' capabilities.
Actually is a bit more sensitive than it should. I find Wii Sports Resort --> Swords Fight to need bigger swings. It would be cooler if the sword on Red Steel 2 required bigger swings but I guess it's because it sets you able to take your sword instantly while shooting with the pistol without loosing your aim.
