Upload is supposed to be 300Mb/s as well so I have to find out what the bottleneck here is but overall I'm very happy with the speed. I used to have 80/80 but got the upgrade for about $5 more a month. Worth it for the heck of it.
> for a developed country is poor I should say Try Germany. I'm on 20/1 which is about average, best I can find is 100/40 and that is only in select locations. Going to be visiting my parents soon, where it'll be three users sharing a 8/0.25 line for a week. That's gonna be fun. ed: just saw a 400/25 ad, but that's cable, so that is "up to" 400, which of course 99.9% of the time isn't. And no clue about the actual availability.
Live in Brazil and my speed is 2mb/s Funny how the other ISP can go up to 15mb/s in the same adress, gonna cancell my current one as they always say that they can't offer higher speeds here.
Still waiting for fiber at the end of my rural farm rd. Got the fastest I can get right now with cable, 150/10. Fiber will be 150/150 and cheaper..can't wait!
Is your internet ADSL? Hint: They say it's unavailable to avoid giving you a new modem. Buy your own modem or get one somehow and try the upgrade test again. For me this worked. * And I still think I can get more speed if I buy a better modem. The one I'm using was given to me by someone.
ADSL, but I don't use their modem anymore, it's been something like 3-5 years that I've changed it, and even when I call they say that there is no higher speed available.
