Well, nothing to inquire on my own.
But I find someone that could provide me an original EURO-AV (SCART RGB) cable made for Sony PlayStation2 (black cable in the green box), still brand new and sealed in its own blister (SCPH-10142).
Well, how much can it worth in that condition?

And how much could the same cable boxed but for PlayStation1 (SCPH-1050/52) worth?

Just the last one and I'm done; price tag for the original serial link cable (SCPH-1040) for PlayStation1 still in box?

Prices in dollars are fine, but since I'm located in Europe, if there is any european fellow listening would be nice have EUR quotes as well.

Ouh wiiiish, now I'm feeling better...

    Thanks!!

Are you looking to buy? If so, I'll move this to WTB.

If not, you need validation photos to ask for a price check, as per the rules.

I read the rules thread sticked in this section, but maybe I didn't understand something; I thought pics was needed in the case I need price check for something that I own and, eventually, want to sell. While members can still ask how much worth things in order to know if they are spending the right amount of money on something that they could have found for sale, here or anywhere. And that was my intention; I found those items (not here anyway) but dunno if sellers are asking me the right amount of money, so I was asking here to someone more experienced than me how much these items can really worth.

But from your message I understand that this section it's only for sellers (or wannabe) which own items that intend to sell and ask for price quotes, isn't it?
Well, that's not my case. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

No... just if you're actually wanting to buy, you'll get more response in the WTB thread ;)

You could try searching eBay for sold listings to get an idea of a price range they are going for. Would search real quick for you, but on my cell...

SCPH-1040 sells for around $10 for the Japanese version new. The European version has sold for 20 Euros.

A Japanese SCPH-1050 sold for 40 Euros unboxed. A European one sold for £28 (35 Euros) boxed new (sealed cable but the box had shelf wear).

OK, I see now. Well in this case if this thread has more sense in the WTB zone, would you be so kind to move it in right section for me?
Thank you and sorry again for the misunderstanding.

Found the european SCPH-1040 for variable prices; one new for 12 euros although it doesn't seem as such (weared box and patched with tape), another one used but with a better box for 15 euros.
Found also the SCPH-10142 new and sealed for 20 euros.

    Prices don't include shipping.

BTW those seems to be good prices afterall, so I should buy them...

As for the original SCPH-1050/52 seems unfindable and very rare, but I really would not spend so much for a cable that I could buy from retro_console_accessories already modded to carry sync on luma and more likely for less. So if someone has one spare (preferably the european version) for an affordable price feel free to post here.

You can have "new" items that have been sitting in a basement for 10+ years, had stuff dumped on top of them, box squashed etc. Just because the box looks tatty, doesn't mean it isn't new - although, naturally, we question it ;)

We've probably gone far enough to say leave this as a price check. If you want to post a WTB if you don't purchase any of the ones you've found, feel free! ;)

I'm gonna open a new WTB thread for the elusive SCPH-1050/52 ^^
As for this thread, one way or another it has accomplished his task, so thank you.
