It's been a while, but I want to come back to my broken x'eye. Long story short, I bought a non-working x'eye off ebay a couple of years ago. The console would power on (LED Indicator lights up), and my screen would flicker, but I get nothing. No sound, no BIOS, nothing. All the boards seem to be getting power, and the laser assembly seems responsive. I recapped the entire console with a console5 kit but that didn't seem to help at all. I'm afraid there may be some trace corrosion near the BIOS chip, which could potentially be problematic since some of the traces are hidden under that chip. I spent a bit of time on various forums finding ways to troubleshoot whatever I could, but no luck.

I really want to get some more professional eyes on this. Someone that is familiar with expert repair work. Anyone in the community have any recommendations or is familiar with x'eye repair? I'll pay shipping both ways, and pay you for your time obviously. This job may require IC removal / reflow work, so I need someone that is skilled with both.

EDIT: I am using the original JVC power adapter.

HERE is my original thread detailing the issues from a while back.
