hi, i recently stumbled across this: i haven´t seen it before with that slip cover, only with the "true" cover without the slip one: then again, i am not so much into (dating) adventures, so maybe it has always been sold with the additional slip cover but maybe its a d-direct release or something anyone know anything about it?

Yeah, that is a first print edition of the game. Most ADV games on the DC had either a special edition or a slip/box. Don't know about rarity, some first prints are very common - Izumo. Some seem rare - Majyo no Ochakai. You should have a look around, some first print games have huge/silly prices (however most do not). They don't crop up in games shops in Japan as often as they do in Dojin or Bishoujou shops. eg - Shirotsume Kusa Hanashi, first print will cost 7000 yen in a retro game shop, but over 10000 in a bishy shop. Also first print bundled telephone cards can give something of a profit. I sold my Izumo card for more than the game bundle cost me in the first place!
