What is the RJ-11 jack used for on the Katana dev kit? and is there an addon for a RJ-45 ethernet jack?

The RJ-11 port's use is exactly the same as the retail console's - online connectivity. Developers could develop and test online applications right on the development kit. According to the R11 Alpha SDK release, a LAN adapter was available that required a G2 bus extension to work.

It's not confirmed that a broadband adapter was ever released for the Katana.
