For those who don't know he's pretty funny for someone from a pop group. Pretty good power ranger parody. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7820333450116505275
Some freaky Alien stuff there at the end. I like how everytime they send him a letter on a bow & arrow, he screams!
Is this a Power Rangers parody, or a parody of the Kyoryuu Sentai ZyuRanger show, or a parody of sentai shows in general?
Ive never seen any Japanese sentai shows. Arent they all pretty much the same or clones of other popular sentai shows?
Similar, it's designed to sell toys. usually 5 or more people Some higher force that gives them powers Combine powers to make a bigger weapon Each has a robot, vehicle, plane or car Enemies consist of henchmen of a higher power Usually 1-2 clean cut girls. The guys no one cares about. Usually: 1 Karate 1 Baseball 1 Sumo 1 Kendo etc Girls are gymnasts or similar nonsense. Car ranger Beetle ones (japanese kids love beetles as pets or toys) Train Plane Animals The aim is to sell robots, guns, etc. For some reason it's the one genre where young kids in high school are portrayed by clearly older adults. For some reason the Japanese obsession with young girls doesn't carry over at all, unlike the rest of their tv shows. If you want something decent, try to track down the old live action spiderman. Grade A stuff.
It's actually funny. But I pretty much don't like Shingo, or the rest of those SMAP dorks. They're 10 years past their prime.
It might be a good viral video.. lol I picked up rollingbomber.com and zarray.com lol Now just for a shitload of popups and some cafepress items lol.
Anyone ever see Jetman? Greatest. Sentai. Show. Ever. It featured really large versions of every day objects as the monsters, such as a monster made out of traffic signs, a really big faucet, and a CUP NOODLES monster.
Jetman sounds pretty funny. I've also seen one episode of the Japanese Spidumann, although it wasn't subtitled so I couldn't really understand anything (not like its deep drama or anything.) Anybody know where one would procure subtitled copies of these shows?
