Hello all! I'm trying to get some debugging going on for Metal Gear Online 1 (Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence), us at SaveMGO desperately need debugging features... silly to work without them really. Recently I found out about Kermit, and I'm very pleased with the features of SilverBull's work. :wink-new: First off, this is all done on a retail, very first, Version 1 NTSC-U PS2. Mod-chipped with a Messiah2, however, this does not seem to cause any problems. First hurdle was that I had to load the game with ODEM, otherwise it freezes when I start the packet pump. Second hurdle was that I had to modify the ISO to go straight to the online mode elf, since ODEM wouldn't load the elf in the main menu (for some reason, just hung). Third hurdle (and the main problem) is that once I load the online mode (with the modified ISO and ODEM), the network adapter is not found. The adapter shows up with OpenPS2Loader, and the adapter also shows up with the disc itself along with Kermit (no ODEM). Now, according to this screenshot, the modules themselves seem to have loaded (I'm not 100% sure though, the network-related modules on the disc are packed). I did enable IRX modules (I believe that is the item name) in Kermit, and it seems to work fine as I was able to get the list of modules as well as some other stuff. Now, I'm wondering: Is the Network Adapter supported with Kermit? If so, what is the problem that I have and how do I go about getting network capabilities back? Thanks in advance.
