Hi i have noticed there is literally hundreds of kickstarter listed projects but i cannot find a list of what was released as physical media item for example Diamond Trust of London for Nintendo DS and Redux for Sega Dreamcast is there any more like that amongst the kickstarter projects it is hard to find a list on this stuff!
Well there's going to be the new Castlevania game for PS4, XBOX ONE and PC. I have the XBOX ONE version backed. Then there's another I'm backing, err.... Bugger can't remember the name but it's a cyber cowboy sunset riders type game based of an 80s anime. I'm down for the DC version of that.
IMO you should bug them with that question. It's a really good point and if they think just a bit about it, it is a possibility to increase user participation. It can't be costly to list something so simple. Of course we can't say: "hey, it's going to raise 5% by just listing that", but filtering this can't be a reason to not try. People make pointless custom filters in various websites just for curiosity. I doubt users themselves will have interest in something like compiling a list because of physical release. Not because lack of interest in buying those but people just are not interested in several games at the same time. Thinking about it, kickstarter thing is not exclusive to games, right? So that's not so hard to understand why a filter so obvious for us is non existent yet.
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams had a physical release https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/project-giana/project-giana La-Mulana 2 is going to have one https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playism/la-mulana-2 Most of the visual novels Sekai Project puts out seem to get physical releases https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/sekaiproject/created Mighty No. 9 is supposedly going to be released on all kinds of platforms (lololololol) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/mighty-no-9
those are really cool ! thanks for the help =) its strange that Mighty has been delayed a year after initial estimates of shipped was mentioned ? hope the extra dev time helped the game!
i like that idea i might bug them sometime to put a list of platforms for the games so it will be alot easier for everyone!
Pier Solar, this one took quite a bit of extra time, but once it finally did... worth the wait https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/573261866/pier-solar-hd-an-rpg-for-xbox360-pc-mac-linux-and And all of these are on it's way in physical form too; Shenmue III https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ysnet/shenmue-3 Elysian Shadows https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1945059142/elysian-shadows-next-gen-2d-rpg Alice Dreams Tournament https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1911102035/alice-dreams-tournament-for-sega-dreamcast and the one @Yakumo undoubtedly ment with "cyber cowboy sunset riders type game" Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/saberridergame/saber-rider-and-the-star-sheriffs-the-video-game)
And speaking of massive frauds, I forgot that they also made the "Red Ash" kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mightyno9/red-ash-the-indelible-legend Which failed but they're supposedly making the game anyway.
Inafune is getting real close to "We're breaking your legs" Levels of You owe us something. Mega Man 11 is coming out before Mighty No 9 Does.
I supose mighty number 9 is going to be released on disc for current gen only? the banjo kazooie thing sequel is going to be released in a flash drive a think lol
If Might No 9 comes out at all, physical versions for 3ds, PS4, XBONE and Wii U. IF it comes out. Assuming Inafune didn't have a wild night in Roppongi on our dime.
some of these sound pretty good i find it amazing that Dreamcast is pretty much alive 15 years after it was discontinued here thanks to the indie scene ! speaking of the Dreamcast indie scene beware Redspotgames they have not updated their website or Facebook page since 2013 and are still taking peoples money ! alot of pissed people out there tbh i got lucky with Sturmwind regular edition but numerous people who ordered the game after its launch have been left frustrated so some indie devs are not very good much praise to those who deliver a quality product in the end through
There have been a few rumours about a physical Vita version getting released as well (Playasia & Amazon listings) but those have been hit and miss in my experience. I'd like a physical Vita release just for my Mega Man & Vita collections but I've already got the PS4 version coming via Kickstarter. Well that is assuming the game ever gets released, its been radio silence since the February delay and I'm really starting to get worried about the game... I was over the moon when it was originally announced but since Comcept kept fumbling the release date (it was supposed to be out Spring 2015!) my hype is waning. A couple of other games that are getting physical releases - Muv Love (visual novel series) is getting a PC? and Vita physical release if you backed at a high enough tier. The Vita version will come released over two Vita cartridges. And Shenmue III - That is getting a physical release via Kickstarter as well though Yu has been very unclear whether or not the game will see a proper physical release at launch for all consumers.
