What the hell is wrong with these kids? Are they so under privileged that getting a 360 is as good as .....well.... errrrr..... God knows but still, over reaction isn't in it.

When I got stuff that I really wanted as a kid I was very happy and showed it but screaming and all that is just odd. maybe I'm more down to earth :lol:

 

I don't get the incredible excitement of these kids either. I mean I was very happy about my N64 in anno 1999, but this sort of screaming and creating another reality seems just odd to me. But it's funny indeed ^^

I sent that to my girlfriend and said "see now THIS makes me want to have kids, your brother on the other hand makes me want to never have kids." The kid is 20 years old, and bitched and moaned about only receiving a bunch of clothes and some money for Christmas (keep in mind he's constantly needing to be bailed out of jail and have his lawyers paid for the amount of times he's in court).

I told her if we have kids, and our kid acts like her brother on Christmas 1) he's getting his ass beat. 2) His Birthday, receives nothing. No Happy Birthday, No cake, no card, no money, no presents. If he asks if we forgot his birthday, we tell him no we didn't. The moment he gets upset, "Hm, that Christmas you had doesn't seem so bad in retrospect now, now does it?"

I SCREAMED when I got Zelda 64 in 5th grade.

In 4th grade when I got my N64 I, was happy. I was thankful (but not like the kid in that second video) but not as Happy as the kid in the first...

My parents did say (and I do remember) crying tears of joy when receiving Super Mario Bros 3 for my 3rd Birthday.

 

You do realize that for a kid, getting a console is like snorting a gram of cocaine. They just can't control themselves. I know I was excited every time, although I m not the loud type.

 

Yeah Now when I buy a console and wait for it I swear quite loudly when a UPS truck speeds by....

I really need to physically buy more consoles...it would reduce my stress levels.

I don't understand the kids that go mental at getting a xbox360 or whatever, sure its great as a kid to open up your presents and find the latest console but not to the point of going mad, I remember i really really wanted a PS1 so bad back in like 96 or whatever and i got one that Xmas but i never screamed, shouted or went mental at all because i knew that if my parents could afford one and if they could get one in the shops then they would buy it for me.

Even when i got a PS2 and when i got my original Xbox i was more like "WOW, COOL...Thanks" and then seconds later I'd have the box open taking everything out piece by piece and looking at it rather than going mad over it for like half an hour or something.

 

When I was 8 I got a PlayStation.

However, I opened the second controller box up first. So I wasn't surprised when I opened the larger box. lol!

 

I don't even remember when I got my master system Only vaguely do I. IT wasn't until Christmas morning where there was an assload of SMS games in our living room...and actually Yeah I don't remember But I didn't have a gamgasam

In a funny twist my parents didn't know what they got me for Christmas this year until I opened it..
