Guess I might as well post another "upcoming 2D sequel". The latest in the Kiki Kaikai series is getting a release on the PS2, entitled Kiki Kaikai 2. While the character designs seem a bit more bland than the originals, the gameplay looks to be a lot of the same. It's being developed by Starfish. I downloaded a 1CC video of both the arcade version, and Nazo no Kuro Mantle (the first SFC game). The latter was on hard difficulty. Unreal. I can't even get past stage 2.
