http://www.geocities.jp/amusementgolf/honobono.htm scroll down until you come across the girl dressed in shinto priestess clothes (main character in kikikaikai). I've been looking for a fair priced super famicom kikikaikai for ages (impossible), not even contemplating finding the sequel. big fan of the game (really looks awesome even today), so this caught my eye. did it come out for the arcade? or is that an MSX poster (or something)?
heh. didn't know Pocky & Rocky's original name was kikikaikai. you learn something new every day edit: just found this on ign: so it seems like it indeed was a arcade game too
Yes, the first game was indeed a arcade game and was ported to PC-Engine and Famicom. The name of the arcade game is KiKi KaiKai (jp. Taito 1986), outside of Japan known as Knight Boy (Taito 1986).
I think this game features on Taito Memories Vol. 1 for the Playstation 2, unsure if its a port of the arcade version or the earlier console versions though.
hey, I posted a reply to this thread first but it seems to have vanished :crying: Oh well, seem like your questions have been answered anyway Yakumo
Great series. I love them. Here's some goodies, courtesy of your's truly. Flyers: Arcade Flyer Nazo no Kuro Mantle Tsukiyozoushi Box Scans: Tsukiyozoushi - I've since played more, and need to update the description (and get a better scan) PC-Engine Version GBA Version I have Nazo no Kuro Mantle on the SFC as well, just haven't added it to the site. Both excellent games, although I think the sequel plays a bit better.
Here is your chance to pay that game for $30 http://watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20060615/toy222.htm
