Abystus made a mame hack to showcase the unused sounds from the beta/prototype of Killer Instinct arcade. I uploaded this video showcasing the sounds. It can also show the Thriller Instinct boot image although it only displays for a millisecond. Also, a few other kids don't do drugs splash screens. Here is a video showing a very early build of KI Cinder's name is Meltdown Sabrewolf's name is werewolf The character selection screen is completely different and there is some stage differences. Combo names and announcer voice are different as well. I wonder if the prototype HD image exists anywhere. I know the is a proto 4.7 rom but it doesn't change anything graphically. I'd love to pop that proto hd into my KI arcade cab!! As soon as Abystus is done indexing the sprites I should be able to. He does all the work, I'm just a second pair of eyes to determine that it is in fact unused. Soon as he says ok or releases them publicly I'll post here!
