    I have not picked this up yet , a lot of people are saying it's good. I might have to go out and grab it.

    Played it, finished it, shelved it. Just like all of his games this has not come back once you've finished it. Oh, and it's very short. Now EDF 4, that's a game with a lot of come back. 91 hours of playtime on tha baby.

    I didn't even know the new EDF was out in Japan, of course the West has to wait until next year to get it! Anyway, like I expected, Killer Is Dead seems to be another all style, no substance Suda51 game.

    It's not grabbing me like NMH or NMH2 did. Presentation I would put below Lollipop Chainsaw but actual gameplay would be better than Lollipop. It's fun but I'm slogging through it - mission here, mission there. NMH/NMH2 tried to give replay value, and so did Lollipop Chainsaw to an extent.

    What I do like about Suda's games is...they feel very much to me at their core a GAME and not this crap we've had for several years where it's cut scene followed by room full of guys to the next way point, repeat. They are pretty linear games but they don't hold your hand... Not sure if i'm alone in this.

    That sentence could be used to almost perfectly describe Killer 7, though. That game had a really interesting premise and cool art style, too bad the actual gameplay is pretty shit.

    It's nice game but way too short and once you've completed all the missions there's no reason to play it again. Lollypop Chainsaw and Shadow of the Dammed were just the same. As a games developer I honestly don't think Suda51 is hot shit at all. The only game he made that I really liked was No more heroes. As put above, Suda51's games are style, no substance.

    I'm enjoying it so far, the Gigolo missions are pretty funny (not the first time I've had to stare at a female character in a game - Yakuza, I'm looking at you).

    My husband has been surprised that I'm not constantly dying or sucking with the game despite I've been playing it with little to no sleep. I like Suda's games but I also have all of the titles he did at HUMAN Entertainment so I see a lot of his reoccurring themes (Twilight Syndrome or Moonlight Syndrome, the latter is stylized a lot closer to his newer titles) so it makes sense so far to me... Only thing that got me was during the first Moon River mission where there was a moment just before the fight that was really badly timed on my part as I was playing at with no sleep at 2 am and had to be up a couple of hours later for work so I was kinda like "What the fuck is going on? Oh. Ohhhhhh."

    I agree, style does go above substance. But SUCH style!

    I couldn't stand Shadows of the Damned...the aiming mechanics were WAY off.

    Lollipop Chainsaw I can relate to, I found the game way too short as well. The other thing was there's no replay value, I had heaps of stuff still locked but never bothered to unlock everything...
    Also didn't Suda51 hire Jessica Nigri to sell the game again? I can see this game becoming a bargain bin title very soon, just like Lollipop Chainsaw was.

    The controls on that game were horrid. It's a shame because it could have been good. Then again it also had no comeback play. There wasn't even a New Game + option. How the hell were you suposed to fill up all of those hearts?

    Juliet Starling was hidden in the game - finding her in Japan entered you into a contest.

    ...In America, not even an achievement. -_-;
