On May 19th, 2005, Starcube released a 2004/05/21 build of Killer7 to the public, about 2 months before official release.

This build is playable and can be beaten from start to finish. This build allegedly has MUCH more swearing, gore and general violence compared to the final.

Has anyone played this version and noticed any of these differences/changes?

Here is the NFO for this release:

In another NFO for a group release of the retail version, I found an interesting bit:

"Our brothers at STARCUBE brought you the "preretail" |
    | version of this wonderful game almost a month and a half |
    | (22 hours for us and IGN sucks.) , we bring you the |
    | retail version of this game (Looks like capcom did a |
    | little cleanup....)"

    2004? Isn't that a mislabelling?

Also, it's a year before the original release in japan, and they had the game already finished at the time?
