The maggot is dead yes. Wow I was in game playing css I alt-tabed to make use of the time it takes to send my client info and then screamed this news and everyone in the server raised their guns in the air and blew caps till the mag was out.
If its true and not just some rumour........ Maybe now North Korea can move on and be more like China taking over the world with products not weapons. He won't be so ronrey now tho
Reminds me of Homefront and the timeline, just they made him die next year. Didn't want to wait that long I guess x) 2012 North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il dies due to a sudden stroke. Investigators reveal that the supreme leader’s health had been in decline for quite a few years. His son and appointed replacement, Kim Jong-un, releases a press statement praising the reign of his father, committing his government to a brand new era of peace and openness. On the other hand, South Korea took Kim Jong-il’s death in optimism, hoping that the 60 years of constant war between the neighboring nations is close to an end. http://segmentnext.com/2011/03/02/homefront-timeline/#ixzz1gxq5ZOZV
2011 has been a good year for offing dictators and tyrants hasn't it? Mubarak, Gaddafi, Bin Laden and now Kim Jong Il. I'm half expecting George W to choke on a pretzel on Christmas day, whilst Tony Blair is found drowned in Michael Barrymore's pool on the countdown to 2012 and the year will be complete
Good thing Saudi Arabia's repressive government will always remain as long as they're allied with the US! Hooray!
Just scary they were that close, given he wasn't that old actually and aren't we here is a game centric forum? About the far east stuff, it's not over yet and still it can get worse. Just some of the worst clowns are gone. Well Gadaffi was at least entertaining with his self made uniform, trying to part the swiss or demanding his tents in the central park. Let's hope it won't end up in a religious driven civil war there like in somalia. Breaking with a tyran is always risky, it always can get worse. About North Korea, Kim Yong Un is still very young, Il has taken the power as he was 50 and settled with the party. Noone knows what will happen there now, even here it can get much worse.
He got "ill" in his name. What do you expect? I don't even believe he really died on 17th. God knows when he died - he could have been dead since last year and they have been using body double and etc.
Kinda surprised they didn't try to prolong his life through an imposter, but I'm kinda glad to hear this. I have no pity or sympathy for that man.
Let's just hope it isn't a case of "out of the frying pan and into the fryer". Sometimes younger generations feel like they have something to prove....and sometimes they don't. It will be interesting to see how things play out.
It's not that simple. @death I wonder if he really just died or if they (the military leader circle) used his sickness to eliminate him without further questions asked.
