Old news but still funny Malaysian Grand Prix Heavy rain... F1 people were apprehensive. Drivers on the grid, inside their cars, having a storm on their heads. Managers worried about the procedures of an eventual race re-start. Commissioners deciding if it's worth to continue the race. The people on the stands waiting for a decision. Millions of people, all around the world, watching every picture, every detail, every information... Team bosses and crew don't know what to do. The night is minutes away. What is going to happen!? . . . . . . . Then the TV shows this...    Gotta love Kimi's attitude. Wait on the car, under this storm!? Hell No. I'll take a shower, put my dry clothes and have an ice cream and a coke. Great way to show how to relax. The "F1 world" totally worried outside, and he already knew what would happen. Genious! PS: I was trying to find a picture of it, that's why i didn't post it earlier. And for those you want:
Sadly F1 has no fans here, we prefer drinking beer and smoking meth while watching cars go in a circle for hours. We can't even get it on TV...
Well Kimi had messed up all his wet tyres, he wasn't in the points and he was unlikely to get any and it was raining hard so I think he was just being smart and saving the engine, gearbox, etc... still it was a great image.
We wait for the cars to crash.... But seriously, drinking beer is the only way you can enjoy. Meth.... well... When it rains, it's a good time to go mudding....
i saw it life and i tought, this is how a pro driver is supposed to do, it means he haves no fear nor tension while doing his job. BTW icecream + COKE?
Being an F1 fan in the States, I pretty much signed up for cable TV just to get Speed, so I could get my F1 fix. BTW, there is some racing here that isn't strictly in circles - races at Watkins Glen have both left & right turns! :110: As for the ice cream antics - well, that's why they call him the Ice-man, I guess!
Been watching F1 on speed this year....Damm good. Same can't be said for Nascar though, aside from some of the graphic designs they use on the cars, its turned into a snooze fest. Has anyone watched the CORR, or rather the Lucas Oil Offroad racing series? It's great fun! Ryan
For various reasons, F1 has come alive in the last couple of years. I mostly agree about NASCAR, though it still has its occasional moments (usually involving crashes, though!). Things like Petit Le Mans can be good watching. Is that on Speed? I'll have to go check the schedules for it.
Yea it is...Actually now its called the Traxxas TORC series. I got into after buying a Traxxas slash RC truck, they are damm fun, both the real ones and the rc. Ryan
