    Hey all.
Going top SG in a few days and looking for any reccomendations as to good VG stores.
Are there any stores in Sim Lim that has older stuff. Any good corner shops(found a nice one last time where I got Saturn twin sticks for SG$20 and they had a boxed Neo Geo for SG$150, still kicking myself for not buying it).
Anyways I'm basically looking for DC, Neo Geo, SNES PC engine stuff.

    Cheers,
    Chujo

    Singapore Game Shops

    Hello,

    Well

Sim Lim Square (New Bridge Road) and Lucky Plaza (Orchard Road) are 2 places you can go, there are about 10 shops specialize in games on those 2 Shopping centres. But the 2 are Tourist Trapper's zone, so do bargain fiercely and compare to internet prices.

If you want more down to earth pricing and somewhat more gamer friendly shops you go to these neighbourhood game stores:

Check out Game shops at these locations also:

1.) Great World City, There is a good retro game shop on level 2
2.) Tanglin shopping centre, there is one shop there as well, I once bought PSX VCD there.
3.) There lots of other small shops that carry old console stuffs on the west area shopping centres, I'll update this when I remembers lol

Yeah its called Mustafa center district, they got 24 hours round the clock shopping centre there just opened last year, where you can actually buy a car at 3 o clock in the morning on one of the shop that sells cars. Funny thing is last time I read on an SG magazine there are actually ppl buy cars at 3 am. the place now features the only 24 hour console game shops in the whole SE Asia, perhaps maybe the only one on the planet.

Mustafa carry less pirated games last time i visited Singapore though, maybe cos nowadays games are in CDs DVDs where ppl can actually burn themselves, so they'd be out of business :smt043

I was hoping for a store or two but thats a fairly comprehensize(sp??) list rich.
Cheers mate you've given me plenty to look for in the next 2 weeks.

    Fonzie,
Haven't been to the night zoo but checked out the regular one last time I was there. The bird show was tops :smt023
Make a not of the Sentosa pool as well.

Any of you guys remeber the way Sim lim use to be. When I first went there(think it was 97 ot 98) it was like a pirates heaven. Folders of pirated games and V64's on the shelves. I kinda miss that(mainly cause I want a v64 again).
